C. M. Hadfield’s Saddlery began in 1978 in Syracuse, New York. Now, instead of competing to be the best in the show ring, we strive to have the best, most innovative high-end merchandise possible. Hadfield’s has outfitted leisure riders to Olympians, providing everything from clothing to bridles and saddles. We are proud to have sponsored great riders including Molly Ashe, Leslie Burr-Howard, Norman Dello Joio, Tim Grubb, James Lala and McLain Ward. Our Cynthia Munro hunt coats are manufactured in England, exclusively for us. We offer the meticulously tailored, traditional “Equitation” jacket with a three-button front and double panel back using select light weight wools. Also in our CM line is the European style four-button front and center vent done with your choice of collar color and piping. An exciting new product, inspired by the comments and requests of our customers, is an innovative washable, waterproof hunt coat. The Cynthia Munro riding shirt line is also produced to our specifications by the finest tailors in Hong Kong. You can choose from hundreds of imported cotton fabrics, as well as the light weight, wash-and-wear poly fabrics that have been in great demand. Both CM lines are stocked in a variety of patterns and colors, or you can design your own. The breeches are offered in cotton or the ever-so-popular, state-of-the-art, microfiber stretch fabrics by Schoeller. A generous selection of colors is available. The quality of the Cynthia Munro collection speaks for itself. The CM clothing line is the riding wear of choice for many young riders, amateurs, as well as professionals. We originally started with four bridle designs, tweaking measurements, testing durability and spending much time with top trainers, riders and grooms in both the hunter and jumper worlds. Today, our line consists of over a dozen bridle styles with matching reins, martingales, breastplates, leathers, girths, training equipment and horse boots. Hadfield’s manufactures virtually anything made of leather that a horse requires. Many have come to rely on Hadfield Bridleworks for unsurpassed quality and consistency, including such notables as Beacon Hill Stables, Erika Belden, James Benedetto, Georgina Bloomberg, Jane Clark, Missy Clark and John Brennan, Deeridge Farm and the Jacobs family, Hillary Dobbs, Gary Duffy, Joe Fargis, Frank Madden, Nick Skelton, Spy Coast Farm, Scott Stewart, and Geoff Teall, to name a few. Hadfield bridles have also made their way into the Quarter Horse industry and are used by professionals such as Heidi and Rick Cecil, David Connors and Bill Ellis, Jerry Erikson, Alfred Hewitt, and Trish and Carl Yamber, to name a few. Additionally, Hadfield bridles are represented in the Paint and Pinto world by Denise and Ron Orman.

For over 40 years, Cindy Hadfield has been involved in the horse industry, covering many aspects of the business. Her first passion was the horse; riding, training, teaching lessons, showing and fox hunting were all a part of it. Another important part of the “job” was taking clients to the local tack shop and assisting them with their purchases. Forty years later, she is still assisting customers with their purchases.
